The Super Bowl is over and the Daytona 500 is next on the list of HUGE sporting events. In fact, football fans may have noticed some racing exposure during the broadcast of the Falcons meltdown against the Patriots. Or, the Pat’s amazing comeback against the Dirty Birds depending on which NFL team you were pulling for.

The point is that FOX Sports laid the groundwork of their upcoming NASCAR coverage during one of the biggest TV events of the year. Ads featuring several drivers, celebrities, and exciting race shots promoting the Great American Race aired during Super Bowl coverage. Even a Simpsons cartoon featured Dale Earnhardt Jr behind the wheel. The point is that the 2017 Daytona 500 race week will get full coverage from Fox Sports.

I’ll admit it – I’m addicted to racing so I tend to search for additional options when it comes to race day coverage. Check out Sirius/XM and the NASCAR Channel for their coverage. In addition, the Motor Racing Network – MRN, and the Performance Racing Network – PRN both have amazing coverage of just about everything in stockcar racing and both networks have their own apps for devices and smart phones.
Several Networks feature NASCAR related shows with live interviews and complete coverage. ARCARacing.com will have live timing and scoring for their practices, qualifying, and add race day audio on ARCA race day – Feb 18. And, as always – check your local radio stations for MRN affiliates.
